1. The background of developing and using ADAS

How to reduce the number of road traffic accidents is one of the main social problems in the world today. According to the World Health Organization, 1.2 million people die and as many as 50 million are injured in road accidents worldwide each year.

The working theory of the whole system

The ADAS camera & DSM camera are integrated with MDVR with a built-in AI algorithm together. The ADAS camera supports safe distance warning/lane departure warning/forward collision warning/pedestrian collision warning, suitable for the road ahead monitoring; the DSM camera analyzes the fatigue state and the distracted state in real-time by recognizing facial expression features and promptly alerts the driver. The core technology comes from independent research and development, with an international level of visual recognition algorithm engine, which is accurate and reliable.


When the ADAS camera detects the potential collision risk with the vehicle front, the vehicle distance is too close or the unconscious lane deviation or there is pedestrian, the system will remind the driver to take timely measures through the warning tone.


When the ADAS warning event is triggered, the warning information is transmitted to the vehicle management system platform (IVMS). Through the collected warning data of the driver and making in-depth driving behaviour analysis, it reduces the traffic accident rate, improves the operational efficiency.

Set the Temperature from -5 °C to  +80°C  

 (-5°C is the lowest working temperature of ordinary SSD,  -40°C is the lowest working temperature of the MDVR)

Humidity from 0% to 90%

*If you already have and use quality analog cameras, the DVR may make more sense. Don’t completely rule out an NVR if its other benefits appeal to you, as it is possible to add an analog-to-IP converter at each camera. You may also be able to create a hybrid system, where analog cameras are in use at some points and IP cameras at others. Why would you want this mix? Analog cameras may be better in low light environments, while IP cameras provide more clarity and an ability to zoom in on an image.


*If you are installing a brand-new security system, the NVR has obvious benefits. It is easier to put in because it uses Ethernet cable and can be partially wireless. IP cameras used with an NVR just need to be on the same network — they don’t have to be wired to a physical system.


*If you have an analog or partial analog system, each camera or component must have its own power source. This makes for more wires, more installation hassles and increased power usage. IP cameras used with the NVR use power over Ethernet (POE) from the recorder so there’s no need for splitters or sockets close by each camera. IP systems also use much less electricity, saving costs.


*The NVR is newer and still more expensive than a comparable DVR system. As it increases in popularity, prices may come down. In particular, the analog cameras used with a DVR are much less expensive than their IP counterparts.

1) JH0 mobile DVR with IP67 waterproof function.


When accident happened the location of the vehicle is unexpected. The situation surrounded could be complicated. Therefore, the waterproof function of JH0 mobile DVR is particularly important. JH0 mobile DVR can protect the SSD well even in the water. so the video data in SSD can be protected with a secure way.


2) JH0 mobile DVR support SSD with unlimited capacity


Over video data storage for a mobile DVR could be a troublesome problem. iCarVisions JH0 mobile DVR can support large capacity of SSD without limited. You can use 2TB or 4TB SSD. We recommend the 2.5'' / 7mm Samsung SSD 860 Evo MLC or Sandisk SSD Processor TLC & Fash SLC. What’s more, solid state drive can support both horizontal and vertical installation of mobile DVR.


3) JH0 mobile DVR with a perfect design in a compact size.


iCarVisions JH0 MDVR designed in a very compact size. It has a metal casing for good heat dissipation and protection from external force. This size occupies a negligible space in the vehicle for installation.


4) JH0 mobile DVR support 4 channels 960p AHD camera and 1 channel IPC 1080p resolution.


iCarVisions JH0 mobile DVR can supports not only 4 channels 960p AHD cameras but also 1 channel 1080p resolution IPC. There are also multiple switching modes, such as 2 channels 960H and 2 channels AHD 960p. it can support also 4 channels 960H and 1 channel 1080p IPC at the same time. You don't need to worry about the power supply of the camera, because JH0 mobile DVR supports PoE power supply 12V for the camera directly.

Super anti-vibration adopts patent technology and high reliability of imported materials on the hard drive to provide anti-vibration and anti-shock under acceleration of 40G (MIL-STD-810G standard).

Onboard 8 seconds power-off delay for data protection.

2 WIFI Antennas and built-in 5.8GHz achieving a downloading speed up to 3Mb/s.

Ultra-wide voltage input: the use of ultra-wide voltage design, no need for external power supply, it can adapt to connect +8 V ~ +36V of the various vehicle batteries voltage, suitable and applying immediately for a variety of vehicle types.

Ultra-low power consumption: only 9W consumption including hard disk power, standby power less than 6W, effectively reduce the burden on the battery, and more safety to other equipment inside the vehicle.

Ultra-small size: equipment designed with less occupancy space, easy to install, capable to be carried out in the car dashboard for embedded installation.

Separate hard drive tray: the hard drive tray is designed with individual removable mechanism for better operation and maintenance. Moreover, supports hard disk Mirror feature for superior data reliability.

Extensive expansion: provides a variety of interfaces, feature extendable via universal interface port for connecting a variety of devices (such as panic buttons, oil sensors, wireless routers and fatigue sensors etc.), to achieve ultimate expansion features and applications.
